You can use Photoshop to blend two images together. They key to this is the magnetic lasso tool.

If you can't find it look for the lasso tool on the left menu. Click and HOLD the mouse button until you see the magnetic lasso menu appear. You can then select it from the menu.

As you drag the magnetic lasso around part of a picture (like a UFO or a person's head) a dotted line appears. Once you have circled the entire object double-click to close the circle. Then you can copy and paste the object into another picture.

Use the two images below to create your own photo of a UFO floating above the White House.

Right click on the UFO and save it to your I: drive. Repeat the right click-save as process for the White house photo. The images are below.

1. Open each image in Photoshop. You can have two (or more) images open at one time in Photoshop.

2. Select the magnetic lasso.

3. Outline the UFO completely with the lasso tool.

4. Click on Edit and choose copy.

5. Select the White House photo (you can find it under the Windows menu).

6. Click on Edit and choose Paste.

7. Use the arrow tool to move the UFO into the best spot above the White House.

DONE? Find two other photos and combine them. It could be a person is an unexpected place. An astronaut at the beach? A surfer at the North Pole? You choose.
