PowerPoint Assignment 1-Introduction to Computers
Your mission is to create a four slide presentation about getting ready in
the morning. Your first slide will be a title slide and the author’s name
(you). The second slide will be an outline slide. The third and
fourth slides will cover the steps of your preparation. Place at least
on appropriate clip art on each slide.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING ASSIGNMENT.
Slide 1
Choose the “Title Slide” type.
The title should be “Morning Routine”
Type your name in the sub title field.
Make the background the color of your choice other than white. Make sure
that the text is readable.
Slide 2
Insert a second slide of type “Bulleted List”.
In the title field type “Morning Routine”.
In the text field, type the following lines:
· Crawling out of bed
· Running out of the door
Make the background a gradient of your choice.
Insert an image from the Internet. Save the image-do not use cut and paste.
Make sure that the text is a non black color that is easy to read.
Apply a Custom Animation to the slide field.
Apply the slide transition of your choice.
Slide 3
Insert a third slide of the type “Bulleted List”
In the title type “Crawling out of Bed”
In the test field, type the lines below:
· Brushing teeth
· Finding clothes
· Combing hair
Make the background a texture of your choice.
Make sure that the text is a non black color that is easy to read.
Apply a Custom Animation to the slide field.
Apply the slide transition of your choice.
Slide 4
Insert a fourth slide of the type “Bulleted List”
In the title field type “Running out of the Door”
In the text field type the following lines:
· Eating a rapid breakfast
· Completing my daily chores
· Getting a sibling to complete my chores
· Bailing on my chores
· Getting to school by ___________ (fill in the blank-car, foot, bus,
donkey, etc.)
Demote the two underlined lines to one level lower.
Make the background a pattern of your choice.
Make sure that the text is a non black color that is easy to read.
Apply a different Custom Animation to the slide field.
Apply a different slide transition of your choice.
On the bottom right hand side of the slide, insert an Action Button that loops
back to the first slide.
To Print:
Switch to the slide sorter view.
Set ZOOM to 100%.
Press Alt-PrtScrn on the keyboard (upper right)
Add a new slide of the “Blank” type.
Double click on the new slide.
Paste the copied screen onto the new slide.
Print SLIDE 5 only.
DO NOT PRINT OUT INDIVIDUAL SLIDES.
