Keyboarding

Keyboarding is a skill that will serve you well as your work with computers be it for work or play. The District's Computer Proficiency Exam for Keyboarding requires a passing speed of 25 words per minute with not more than three errors.

Keys to success

Practice. Practice. Practice. We will practice typing in class and you should do the same at home. Ten minutes a night of practice will make a huge difference in your typing speed and skill

These games provide a great way to improve your keyboarding skills. Remember, the test will require you to copy text from a sheet of paper for three minutes.

NOTE: it is against school rules to download any programs (games included) without permission. You are not permitted to play any games on a school computer without permission. Download on a non-school computer at your own risk.
