This course is designed to assist the student in preparing to take the District's Computer Proficiency Exams. Once completed, passage of these exams satisfies one of the District's graduation requirements.

District policy regarding course grade and these exams is as follows: Students must pass ALL five of these exams before the end of the semester to pass Introduction to Computers. If you do not pass all five exams your will receive an F for the course grade.

What if I don’t pass all five exams?
-Students who put forth full effort and sought extra help may receive an Incomplete – given at the teacher’s discretion. You have 6 weeks to earn a grade.
-Students not likely to pass within 6 weeks will receive a No Mark.
-Students who did not seek extra help or did not put forth full effort during class time or extra help times will receive an "F."
