Excel

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program designed to keep track of numbers (amounts, finances, you name it) and data (like a mailing list). Once you have entered your data, Excel will perform vast amounts of calculations and update your math as your modify data.

Numbers are great but Excel takes them one step further. It will convert numbers into colorful (sometimes shockingly colorful) bar graphs, pie charts and the ever popular radar graph.

Spreadsheets got their start with product called Visicalc that was produced by a man named Dan Bricklin. Learn more about Visicalc by clicking here.
