PowerPoint Dream Vacation

This assignment will serve as your introduction to PowerPoint. You will create a five slide presentation following the guidelines listed below. I've include links to tutorials to help with each slide.

Slide 1: Title slide with your first and last name. Tutorial - what is a Title slide and how do I chose one?

Slide 2: Bulleted List slide that names your dream destination and three things that you will do while on vacation. Tutorial - what is a bulleted and how do I use one?

Slide 3: A photo gallery slide with six pictures of your destination. You can use a blank slide for this slide. Make sure that you save each picture to your I drive and use the "Insert, Picture command" to add the pictures to your slide. Do not copy and paste. Each picture should be animated.

Slide 4: Use a slide of the type "Title and text".
>type the words "Map of (your destination here)" in the title box.
>make the background of your slide a gradient of your choice. Tutorial - how to change a slide background.
>make the text a non-black color that is easy to read against the background that you chose.
>find a map of you destination online and add this map to your slide.
>apply a custom animation to the map. -how do I animate an image or text?

Slide 5: Use a slide of the type "Title and Text"
>type "Packing List" in the title field of the slide.
>in the text field enter a list of at least SIX things that you will pack on your trip.
>make the background of your slide a texture of your choice. - how to change a slide background.
>make the text a non-black color that is easy to read against the background that you chose.
>apply a custom animation to the text field of the slide.

You may add more slides if you wish.

To print go to File, Print. On the Print menu look for the "Print what" menu and choose "Handouts" from the menu. Change the number of handouts per page to 2.
